The first wedding of 2012 kicked off with a bang! Rein and Jessica had a day full of great memories. Having met at the zoo, it provided the absolute perfect setting for their reception.  Their personalities and love for each other shone through all day and definitely came across in the photos.

And, seeing as we were at the zoo, I just HAD to get a photo of the penguins!

Although Adam and Angie had a pretty strong hold on first, there were two other couples who were not far behind. #4 (Dave & Quiana) and #11 (Jason & Aimee) were separated from each other by only one vote! Because of this and because of the awesome comments they received from all of you, they will both be given two free 8×10′s!

I had so much fun getting to know these wonderful couples and was blessed to be a part of such a special day in their lives. With my own wedding also taking place in 2011, each wedding I photographed was an inspiration and encouragement. It was truly an honor to be the one who helped them preserve all of those memories.

Doug and Angie are a great couple and we had a blast celebrating their wedding. We even got snow at just the right time to really make this look like the winter wedding they were hoping for!
